I grew up in a family of small business owners. My dad started off as a taxi driver but started his own video store in Toronto. My aunt started her own printing business in California, and my uncle in healthcare in Hong Kong. That shaped a lot of my identity today as a designer, focusing on creating great experiences for people.

Before diving into tech, I studied human-computer interaction and worked on projects ranging from the construction of language through space to re-designing take out containers. My work today focuses on collaborating with teams to create intentional, clear, and great design.

Reading: Some of my favorite recent novels include Apple in China and The Rooster Bar.

Blog and writing: Writing is an outlet to express ideas, and over the past years I've enjoyed sharing learnings in design, tech, and career growth.

Videography: Video editing is one of my favorite hobbies to capture moments and tell stories when I travel.

Entrepreneurship: I use my design toolkit to apply to entrepreneurship on software and physical products, teaching me to be iterative and user driven.

Collaborated with designers, engineers, and product managers across different squads within the Analytics team to design and improve platform features. Core contribution was shipping custom engagements, decreasing product volume request by 90% with over 80% task completion rate.

Designer for all things co-branded partnerships design. My contributions included shipping 4 major features in a year, including improving the occupation field in the credit card application and Cabela’s in-store kiosk experience. Worked with key partnership brands including General Motors, Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma, and Walmart.
